Here at Union For Helping & Supports, we offer exceptional medical care and rehabilitation for those with all disabilities including hearing impairments. Our agency also provides vocational services and occupational therapies in the community.
UHS Mission Statement
Union for Helping and Supports believes all people have intrinsic value and should have a place to live, work, and socialize in settings of their choosing. Our goal is to advance the inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities in all aspects of their lives by navigating obstacles, generating opportunities, and empowering individuals to be their best selves. All people should have the opportunity to have their voices heard regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual preference, or socioeconomic status and UHS strives to ensure that comes to fruition utilizing the DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging) model. Utilizing the DIEB model enables UHS to make specified advancements in these areas to everyone’s differences are acknowledged, respected, and appreciated.

Union for Helping and Supports (UHS) graciously serves in the world of Developmental Disabilities Services and has been serving participants since 2018. Our main office is located at: 5067-5069 South 108th Street, Omaha, NE 68137. UHS proudly services Omaha and the surrounding areas.

Our staff members complete extensive training to include (but are not limited to): DHHS appointed material, ASL (American Sign Language), Emergency Safety Intervention*, and Person Center Training. Using the DEIB model, we focus on participants’ rights, safety, and individual choices. While we understand there is no “no size fits all” model, we thrive to have a secure, friendly environment that is inclusive to ALL individuals we serve.
